So, I feel like some Avatar characters just don't get enough love from the fans. And we all know that Suki is the bomb.
This also gave me a chance to try out a new coloring method with the Watercolor Loaded Wet Flat Brush. It seems I can't decide what coloring methods I want to stick with, but I guess it more depends on what I'm working on.
anyways, nice work. i haven't experimented with Photoshop that much, so i haven't discovered that brush yet.
but to be honest, at first glance i'd think the hand/fan needs a bit more shading. but that's just my opinion. (anyways, you asked for it-- "Advanced Critique Encouraged")

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. I love the shading - especially on the hair - and I honestly can't fault anything in this picture. I really wish I was half as good as this level at using photoshop but I guess it comes with practice. The eyes are so captivating, it's wonderful! Very nice presentation of a badass character; I hope we get to see more of her in season 3
great job! you managed to make her realistic, yet as soon as i saw it, i knew it was suki!

some people are like slinkies... they are not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.

Why am I here again?

I never saw a moor,
I never saw the sea,
Yet know I how the heather looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given.

The expression, the fan and the hand, it all blends so well. Great composition. x3

Love the work, excellent choice of shot, and love the hand.
